Delete audit data
You can delete audits you own and keep your G2E Audit Tracker account. This page is provided by G2 Equipment (Pty) Ltd.
Delete an audit yourself
- Sign in to G2E Audit Tracker in the app or this website while connected to the internet.
- Save or close edited forms, then sync any changes saved on your device.
- Open Audits and select an audit you own.
- Select Delete audit, review the records listed, and type the audit title to confirm.
- Select Delete audit permanently.
Only the audit owner can delete the audit. This also removes the audit from its team members’ access. Deletion cannot be undone; download a report or audit package first if you need a copy.
Request help with data deletion
Email info@g2e.co.za with your account email address, the audit name or dates, and which data you want deleted. Say that you want to keep your account. Do not send your password.
You can send this request without installing the app. We verify your identity and authority over the records before acting. For records in an audit owned by someone else, its owner may need to be involved.
What is deleted
Deleting an audit removes its inspection checklist, findings and corrective actions, activity history, team memberships and membership requests, inspection schedules, and photo records.
Audit records are removed when deletion succeeds. Original photo files are removed separately. If storage cleanup is still pending, it is queued and retried when you next use your workspace online; every photo file may not disappear immediately.
What stays and how long
Your account, profile, sign-in details and other audits remain while you keep them. Deleting one audit does not delete your account or audits owned by other people.
Minimal deletion records retain identifiers and the deletion time for record integrity, with no automatic expiry. They do not retain the deleted audit’s notes or photos. Pending photo-cleanup records remain until those files are removed.
Provider backups may retain deleted data under the providers’ retention policies. We do not promise a fixed backup-erasure period; contact us if you need retention details for a particular request.
Downloaded reports, exported packages and offline copies on other devices need to be removed separately by the people holding those copies.
